Cary Bans Outdoor Watering
The town’s announcement comes just days after Gov. Mike Easley addressed the N.C. League of Municipalities, calling on them to lead even more conservation efforts in their respective communities. Up until today, the Town of Cary has stood behind their year-round water restrictions…saying that they work. Many area cities and towns have already restricted or banned outdoor watering. I’m curious to know if you agree with the Town of Cary’s decision, today?
I think it is concerning that despite the fact that our Governor has informed us about the seriousness of the drought…there are some communities who are still allowing their residents to water their lawns once or twice a week. I’m even more concerned that that we’ve been hearing from many of you about concerns that your home owners associations (HOA’s) are still requiring your grass to be green.
I think we should have one restriction regardless of your county, city or town.
That’s what I think. Let me know what you think…post a comment in the comments section and let me hear it!
