hey - thanks for the link, but you linked to my post on Scooter, not Jim Black.
the Jim Black post is here:

Personally, i don’t think Black should do any more time than Mark Foley does, and probably less.
Thank you Barry for bringing that to my attention. The link has been updated.
Let me ask a question…What do you think about the idea that was floated by Black’s defense team? They wanted Mr. Black to be able to serve out the time at home while providing free eye service to those in need. Like the idea? Or Throw him in jail, anyways and let him give free exams to those behind bars with him?
Mr. Clough:
I do believe that the time that was given him was sufficient. I have to admit that when I first heard the news story I thought to myself…it is too bad that Mr. black is such a small player in the system…for lobbyists have been paid by large interest groups forever…the lobbyists in turn have been doing the wine, dine and vacation thing for our politicians, forever as well.
These chiropractors were only replacing the lobbyists by being their own self interest group…
I personally believe that chiropractors are just as important to our health care system world as our medical doctors. Our chiropractors have never been given the same respect as medical doctors in the insurance company world.
If Mr. Black helped the chiropractic profession…I applaud him.
Yet on the other hand…having corruption in the political world is not a new thing for this life observer…I wish it weren’t so, yet know that it is.
So the topic you chose is a rather two headed sword…it can cut both ways…if you know what I mean?
Peace,
Tonie
